Hi! I’m Jeff
A psychotherapist working with kids and their families
While I work with individuals, couples, and families of all ages, I am especially passionate about emerging adults -- ages from about 10 to 30. That 20-year period is full of excitement, disappointment, successes, and failures -- it's the practice field for the rest of our lives. It's a tough time to be a kid and a tough time (maybe tougher) to be the parent of one. In my blog, I share what kids have taught me and a few things I've (hopefully) helped them and their parents with.

A little about me: I'm a master's prepared, board-certified licensed clinical professional counselor, an ADHD certified clinical services provider, a certified resilience coach, and a board-certified telehealth provider. I also have senior certification as a human resources professional which was among my gigs before becoming a therapist.
In over 30 years of corporate experience, I worked at some pretty big (and a few small) companies in sales, marketing, strategic planning, operations, and, yep, human resources. That background along with the experience of raising my own two sons helps a lot when I'm working with kids and their families, especially when it's time to talk about jobs and career.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my blog and if you want to know more about me, hop over to my private practice website at www.JeffreyLWilson.com.
